Overview:
Bridgehouse began in 1986, started by three fathers of adult children with psychological disabilities.
Members of
clubhouses around the world believe passionately in the
potential each member has for living a life filled with hope,
realization of dreams and finding a meaningful and rewarding
place in the community in which to live and work.
We believe
each member can recover and return to work, school, and
independent living and we are committed to assisting our members
in achieving their goals. The
Clubhouse is operated by staff and members solely for the
purpose of supporting each member’s rehabilitation and recovery.
Work, both as voluntary services within the Club and as paid
employment in the community, is the focus of Bridge House.
