This group comprised of members of the public helps Bridge House raise funds through our annual "Pasta Dinner" fundraiser and supports other Clubhouse fund raising efforts throughout the year, such as our annual appeal and flower sales.

We are always in need of people to assist with our fund raising efforts.

Ann- A Friend of Bridge House

Ann has worked as a volunteer for almost four years as part of the planning committee for the annual Pasta Dinner — Bridge House's biggest fundraiser. Whether a person has a lot of time to dedicate, or just a few hours to help at an event, Ann says there's a space for every willing volunteer at Bridge House. "Anything they can do -- if they can't come to regular meetings, they can help clear the tables that night....Once you're there, you're hooked. It's so inspiring to see what they've done for their members."

Regarding her volunteer experience, Ann says, "This couldn't be a better experience. Bridge House is absolutely a wonderful place to be a volunteer. The place is lovely, and the people that work there are so dedicated. For the [members] this is the safest place they have... Many have restored their lives, and without Bridge House that wouldn't have happened. They really have a lot to give the community, and I don't know where else they would go and get this care. This is what really inspires me to keep volunteering."
