Our Mission

The mission of Bridge House is to provide a positive, encouraging environment of programs and support, which give persons with psychiatric disabilities opportunities to live productive and satisfying lives.

As a psychosocial rehabiliation program using the clubhouse model, Bridge House has been committed to helping its members on their path to recovery for the past 25 years. We strongly feel that our clubhouse members can recover, improve their lives, and contribute to the community. Through various Employment, Education, and Outreach programs we provide our members with opportunities to return to work, continue their education, and opportunities to live independently.

Bridge House helps its members become more self-reliant. Our clubhouse is run by members and staff working side-by-side, soley for the purpose of supporting each member's rehabilitation and recovery. Our clubhouse fosters dignity and respect for each member, and we believe passionately in each member's potential to realize his or her dreams, and live a hopeful and fulfilling life.

What members have to say

Bridge House saved my life, or better said helped restore my life (along with God). When I first came to Bridge House I was afraid to have lunch in the cafeteria. I sat in a corner and had very little interaction. With the help and encouragement from the staff and members, I have returned to school, am a Peer Support Specialist and have received many certificates in the field of Behavioral Health. But most importantly, Bridge House helped restore my self esteem, sense of self-worth and desires not only to help myself but others dealing with mental health issues."
