THE clubhouse model

Bridge House is one of over 300 accredited Clubhouses around the world. Its mission is to provide a safe and supportive place where members can experience a sense of belonging. Bridge House is a Certified Clubhouse by Clubhouse International. It adheres to the rigorous 37 International Standards for Clubhouse Programs.

Membership Rights Are:

A right to a place to come.

A right to meaningful relationships.

A right to meaningful work.

A right to a place to return.

Membership is free of charge and participation is always voluntary. Bridge House has been designated an evidence-based model of psycho-social rehabilitation by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Members play a vital role in the Bridge House community, and the right to Membership is balanced by member responsibilities. Staff and members work together to provide community support services to all who need them. Members enjoy low-cost meals (see calendar for schedule) and snack bar; social and recreational activities on nights, weekends and holidays; a low-cost clothing boutique; a food pantry; employment help; and banking assistance. Through the generosity of private donors, the Clubhouse can also help out with emergency funds for a variety of special needs, for our members.

Clubhouse Hours of Operation

Monday – Friday:    8:00AM – 4:30PM
Saturdays:    9:00AM – 2:00PM (two Saturdays a month)
All Holidays:    9:00AM – 2:00PM
OPEN HOUSE Wednesday: 10:30AM
