Clubhouse Overview & Hours

First and foremost, the Bridge House Clubhouse is a place to belong to. Bridge House meets the rigorous standards of a Clubhouse as defined by the International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD). At Bridge House, we respect every member's right to a place to come, a place to return to, meaningful work, and meaningful relationships. Membership at Bridge House is free of charge, and participation is completely voluntary. Bridge House is further defined by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) as an "evidence-based" model of psychosocial rehabilitation.

Members are vital to the Bridge House community, and the Right to Membership is balanced by member responsibilities. Members, staff and volunteers work together to provide community support services to all who need them. Programs at Bridge House include social and recreational activities on nights, weekends and holidays; a low-cost clothing boutique; a food pantry with supplemental foodstuffs; and transportation when needed. And through the generosity of private donors, the Clubhouse can also help out with emergency funds for a variety of special member needs.

What members have to say

This upbeat, friendly clubhouse has been a lifesaver to me and I have learned so much about my life. It would be wonderful to see if I could move and see what I would do on my own, as I am now more secure and well adjusted to my situation. Thank you, Bridge House, I love you."
