Families: What to Expect

At Bridge House, the path to recovery is uniquely tailored to each member, but the goal is the same: to restore hope and move toward a richer, more rewarding life.

The first step is enrollment. Once your family member's referral has been assessed and approved, our intake coordinator will meet with them to enroll them as a member.

Following enrollment, our staff will work with your loved one to evaluate his or her material, social and vocational needs — and identify the appropriate resources and services to meet those needs.

Through a simple orientation, your loved one will be able to spend time in each unit, get acquainted with our staff, and learn about the opportunities available to them at the Clubhouse.

And because we believe meaningful work is the key to every person's recovery, we'll engage in short- and long-term goal setting, encouraging your loved one to explore work opportunities both within and outside the Clubhouse.
