Frequently Asked Questions
Young adults at Bridge House are fully integrated with the rest of the Clubhouse members. However, recognizing the unique needs and interests of younger adults, we add to the experience of this group with social activities, on-site electronics and technology, off-site recreation such as laser tag and bowling, and age-appropriate work opportunities.
2. What kind of help is available to students at Bridge House?
In addition to the many Clubhouse activities, Bridge House provides peer tutoring, on-site computers, and a quiet place to study. If a member needs help navigating the college system, we can work with their instructors and advisors to help keep them on track.
3. Will I fit in?
Bridge House provides a place of safety, acceptance and belonging for all of our members. Our young adult staff will work with you at your pace to make sure you feel comfortable, engaged and involved.
4. How do I get started?
Call us for a guided tour! A peer tour guide will show you the Clubhouse and give you a referral packet, which you can complete with your referring clinician or case manager should you choose to become a Bridge House member.
