Mission + Commitment
Our Commitment
We are accredited by Clubhouse International and follow a psychosocial model of rehabilitation. In this model, our members work side-by-side with staff on the daily operations of the house. It emphasizes member choice, empowering individuals to become decision-makers and leaders within the community.
In addition to their work duties, members select programs and resources that best meet their personal needs. These include:
Support groups
Peer support
Social activities
Vocational assistance
Housing support

What Members Gain:
As integral and active participants in the Bridge House community, members develop:
A strong sense of identity
A renewed sense of self
A deeper sense of purpose
Now Open in Stratford
Our new facility in Stratford strengthens our commitment to our members by equipping them with the tools needed to face future challenges. We are introducing new key areas of community integration, while expanding current programs and developing a broader network of resources.
These changes will empower members to build new opportunities and meaningful connections, leading to a more independent and fulfilling life.
