How You Can Help
By Supporting Individuals living with SMI - You provide them Access to:
New Opportunities, Connections and a life with Purpose.
Bridge House restores dignity and provides opportunities for people living with SMI. At Bridge House, Members have jobs, pursue uninterrupted education, live independently, and build meaningful relationships. Through Bridge House, Members can reconnect with themselves, with their talents, their abilities and their strengths. They begin to re-experience their own hopes, dreams, and desires, and can again recognize that they are valuable, worthwhile people, worthy of friendships and community.

Your ongoing support is essential to sustaining these initiatives. Through your generosity, Bridge House can continue making significant, positive impacts in the lives of those we serve. Collectively, we can facilitate meaningful changes for our members, supporting their advancement toward increased independence, confidence, and fulfillment.

Give Online Today. Change a Life.

Think for a moment. As people, as human beings, what do we all want? A nice place to live, a job, friends, acceptance, a sense of belonging. We want to feel valued and appreciated. We want purpose in our lives and to feel a sense of worth.
People living with mental illness want those same things. A community who is happy to see you, who needs and values your contributions and who misses you when you’re not there. Bridge House is that community. And we need your help to keep being the best we can be.

JOIN US in Building a Community for the Future
In central and lower Fairfield County, few community nonprofits exist for people living with serious mental illness (SMI), especially for young adults. Our current facility does not meet the needs of the Members. Its location, aging infrastructure, limited accessibility, and restricted space have limited program development, service expansion, new opportunities, and outreach.

In October 2024, Bridge House purchased a three-story building in Stratford to replace our current facility. Although the Stratford building offers significant enhancements in space, accessibility, and location for Bridge House, it does need comprehensive renovations and upgrades to optimize the facility’s capacity to serve our Members effectively. The successful completion of these projects is contingent upon securing additional funding.

The estimated renovation costs are projected to be $850,000. Currently, the Campaign has been able to raise more than half the expected amount.
By contributing to our Capital Campaign, you help sustain proven practices and encourage innovative approaches that deliver meaningful outcomes for our Members.
